The major challenge in achieving Net Zero targets is measuring and managing Scope 3 emissions, due to a lack of robust environmental data and a coherent set of rules to standardise product footprinting and data sharing through value chains. The Coalition aims to tackle both these challenges head-on.
Data sharing that protects intellectual property and delivers business value
Harmonising a product footprinting standard for the food sector needs to be balanced with security concerns associated with data sharing and value-driven use cases in order to create the commercial incentives for mass adoption.
The Coalition has been established to refine and roll out Mondra’s platform to address these methodological, technological and commercial imperatives, simultaneously.
